heyyyyy! okay, so I’ve wanted to start a channel for a while now, but all I have is my iPhone8 camera. Although it’s a newer model, it’s still not as high quality as I would like. I’m scared people won’t wanna watch my videos because of this 😩.

Honey I have used my Samsung Galaxy 6 Active for all of my videos and by God's grace I succeeded my goal to get my videos monetized over 10k lifetime views with my phone people will view the content quality uploaded and natural lighting works great. As your channel grows then you can purchase equipment suitable for you. I recommend waiting til cyber monday, black friday and new years sales. DO YOUR RESEARCH ! ESPECIALLY ON TECH BUNDLES make sure mic connects, your cpu is compatible with the equipment. But i pray away those mental blocks hun just upload content with what you have. Look at my videos https://youtu.be/n3KvLqnDKNg
Y’all are the best ❤️❤️❤️
Using your iPhone is honesty a great way to start when it comes to Youtube. You have to see how things work and figure out what works for you. Idk if you watch Hazel Goddesss at all, but all she has used to record her videos since day 1 was an iPhone and her videos look great. Your iPhone and good lighting is truly all you need as a beginner.
the iphone 8 camera is amazing actually it shoots in 4k which is the fastest framing quality out at the moment you just have get great lighting and a tripod and you are good to go
there's no shame in using what you have at the time. :). i found that using my iphone 7, has better quality than some of my other cameras that I have used in the past. as long as you are hones, and your content is BOMMMMMMBT. Oh, and you are doing your best. You will be successful. SECURE YOUR BAG , SIS!
No worries! It’s really all about the content you supply. Don’t get too caught up in the techy stuff although that does matter. I have a Canon Rebel T5i. Any Canon can work. But if money is an issue cause your phone & but a tripod! That’s exactly how I started. YouTube equipment can be expensive. But if you don’t have it then you gotta make shift girrrrrl!😘
I used to record on my iPhone 5s, 6s, then 7 plus until I saved enough to finally purchase a camera. The iPhone 8 quality is perfect, if anything lighting is more important than what you use to record. Don't let the fact that you don't have a camera stop you from making videos because I didn't let that stop me. So many people use their phones to record, you'd be surprised how great their quality is. You can use natural lighting like I did when I first started recording, or you could purchase some really inexpensive lighting on YouTube. You can use the neewer ring light (http://a.co/ijWzs5E) which is way cheaper than the diva ring light. I have video of me unboxing and reviewing it right here. Hope that helped!
I use my iphone7plus camera to record video and the quality is great ! That was my first problem as well trying to figure out and wanting to purchase a higher end camera, but in actuality your iphone quality is not bad you just have to learn the tricks.
You all are right! Thank you ❤️
I agree with everyone it does matter about the quality as long as your putting out videos with purpose you will be okay! Just have FAITH and everything will fall into place!
I feel like as long as you're being yourself, the quality of your videos don't matter at all. People will love you for you.😊❤
I've been on YouTube for over a year now and I am still filming with my phone because that is what works for me right now. My quality isn't the best either, but its all about seeing what works now and then when you can invest in equipment then do so. Don't worry.
I remember watching a girls videos who used to record on an iPhone. I watched because of her personality, not the qulity of the videos. Don't let that stop you. #Noexcuses
I have the iPhone 8 Plus and honestly the back camera is amazing! It’s a good place to start off with while you are just testing out what you’re doing & seeing what works!
