KAICE BURNETT
Distinctively known for my YouTube Channel, kinky hair, slightly awkward smile, and ginormous eyes, I’m Kaice! (or Purely Kaice or Kaice Alea or Daisy… the list goes on).
I’m a Baltimore, Maryland native (high 5’s to my bird city readers); and currently a 20 year old Junior at Florida International University, located in Miami, Florida. I major in Digital Media Studies and minor in Marketing/E-Marketing Analysis.
I started my YouTube channel in the summer of 2014 with the intention of sharing my hair journey to teach/inspire other girls to embrace their natural hair as well. Since then, I have taken deeper interest in vlogging/blogging about other topics such as beauty and lifestyle. After about 2 years of hard work and dedication of building my channel, I began to receive opportunities to work with well-renowned brands for their online PR campaigns and sponsorships such as: Shea Moisture, Creme Of Nature, Vanity Planet, Lotta Body, Kera Care, Deva Curl, “Q-Redew”, Mielle Organics, Jamaican Mango & Lime, and FORM Beauty. I plan to take on a full career in influencing.
My passion for natural hair and beauty has caught the eye of over 101,000 subscribers on my YouTube channel alone, where people constantly crave my advice/tips because of my honest and reliable advice.
In addition to YouTube, I also utilize Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter to share my beauty advice with fun interactive posts. For every upload, there is a lot of time and dedication put into making the product or service appeal to my audience in the best way possible. I use professional quality equipment as well as a strategic creative process to create the best content possible! Because of my social media presence, I have been featured in popular online magazines/social platforms such as Fashion Bomb Daily, Black Aphillyated, The Cut Life and NaturallyCurly.com.
Not only do I focus on beauty products, tutorials, and reviews- I also plan to use my platform to inspire other aspiring entrepreneurs.

Brown, Bomb, and Branding is a platform for aspiring ,minority, self branded hustlers.
As an aspiring entrepreneur, I’m learning very clearly everyday that there’s no real manual for building your own brand. You are in full control of how you make your visions come to life! You have to push yourself to go outside of your comfort zone and experience things that will give you the knowledge you need to make your dreams come true.
TRUST ME- I know it’s hard! There will be times where you’re feeling stunted in growth, uninspired, or just lost.
Brown, Bomb and Branding will be the platform that you come to- to get your head back in the game.
Constantly learning, staying inspired, and collaborating are major keys. Hence, why the platform is designed to work in 3 steps:

On the “Get Educated” page, you’ll find quick informational blog posts about things I find important to know about being a self brander. I will be posting any informative articles,videos,or other websites that I think you can benefit from.
Getting knowledgeable is such an important aspect of self branding because it builds your credibility! Plus, the more you know the more you can do.
I find that in my own self branding journey, staying inspired is the number one thing that keeps me motivated. It is important to me to see other people doing the things I aspire to do- and doing it well.I love to hear and learn from "come up stories". So, on this page, you’ll find interviews with some of my favorite self branders who are all doing different things; whether it be YouTube, personal blogging, freelancing, music, ect. You’ll be able to get to know some great examples of black self branded hustlers and use their stories to inspire you!
Get to work is the collaborative portion of the platform. It is where you can ask questions, discuss different topics, or even post your work for other people to see. You can also express your desire to work with other people on any business or content project. I want this to mimic a social media space in the sense that your able to connect with people with similar interests as you and find ways to work with them. Use the forum to spark magic together!
As minority creators or business owners of any form our aesthetic is unique individually!
