One of the biggest struggles I have faced as a black woman is a the good(curly) hair vs. bad(kinky) hair debate. Personally I have 3c/4a hair type so I am constantly hearing that I have 'good hair' and the majority of the time it is coming from other black women. My hair texture posts always seem to do better than my other posts on my ig account _honeybeenatural_. I always want to scream WE ALL HAVE GOOD HAIR!!!! Our hair is so beatiful and versatile that we all need to embrace what we were blessed with and lift up one another instead of feeding into and contributing to mass media's idea of beauty. When I first started my natural hair journey I was obsessed with 4c bloggers like naptural85 and napp.queen. They inspired me to love my hair no matter what texture I ending up with after I finished transitioning. I encourage everyone to embrace your own natural hair journey and remember that natural hair is the best hair:) Comment below with your hair type and what you love about it!!!
